Flick Fix

Jamie and I signed up for Netflix one week ago and I've since been going crazy adding titles to our Queue. We topped fifty within the first couple of days and have now surpassed the 100-dvd mark. I love it. No more wandering like a zombie for an hour and a half through the aisles of those video conglomerates¹, suffering from that peculiar sort of amnesia in which the movie title section of your brain shuts down.

So take a quick look at the new addition to my sidebar - on the right-hand side of this page. I've added an RSS feed (also see here for more useful rss info) showing the first ten discs in my Netflix Queue. This is a live feed from Netflix. If you would like to learn how to add an RSS feed to your website or blog, take a trip over to this Cut n' Paste Javascript RSS Feed page. You'll need to provide an rss url for whatever it is you want to feed.

Woohoo, Netflix! I am going to have fun with this. Not to mention, that I am relatively new to the dvd experience, having recently purchased my first dvd player. My First DVD Player — you know the one. It comes in that thick bright yellow plastic case so that I can drop it
repeatedly and won't hurt it too bad.

¹ Technically, conglomerate might not be the appropriate word here, but I just like that it has "glom" in it. It has a kind of onomatopoeic thing going for it — like something big and gooey.
